A critical edition of Haji Khalifah’s magnum opus. Shaykh Bashar and co have relied upon the author’s original draft manuscript and his incomplete final version whilst also mentioning the additions and changes added in by the scribe of the Raghib Pasha manuscript used by Gustav Flugel and present in the well known Turkish edition that’s generally relied upon.

They’ve compiled a large eighth volume of over 650 pages that covers mistakes made by Haji Khalifah in his work, including incorrect attributions, incorrect titles, mistakes in names and dates of death. Volumes 9 and 10 have indexes of author’s names, book titles, fields of knowledge and places.
